These Terms of Service govern your use of AnimeGrids. By accessing or using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

Use of the Service

AnimeGrids is a free daily puzzle game provided for entertainment. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the site for its intended purpose, subject to these terms.

Accounts & Progress

The site creates an anonymous guest account when you play. You may optionally connect a Google account to save and sync progress. You are responsible for access to your connected account and for activity performed through it.

Game progress, scores, streaks, rarity values, rankings, and puzzles may be corrected, changed, lost, or reset. We do not guarantee that any progress will remain available. Inactive anonymous accounts and their server-side progress may be deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable Use

You may not:

• interfere with, overload, damage, or disrupt the site or its infrastructure;
• bypass access controls, rate limits, security measures, or gameplay rules;
• use bots, scripts, or multiple accounts to manipulate scores or rarity data;
• probe the site for vulnerabilities or access data you are not authorized to access;
• use the site for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive activity; or
• copy, scrape, or redistribute site content in violation of applicable rights.

We may restrict or suspend access when we reasonably believe these terms have been violated or when necessary to protect the site or its users.

Content & Third-Party Services

Anime titles, images, and metadata come from the MyAnimeList API. AnimeGrids is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by MyAnimeList and claims no ownership of that content. All trademarks and third-party content belong to their respective owners.

The site also relies on third-party services and may link to third-party websites. Their terms and policies govern your use of those services. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services, content, or availability.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information. By using the site, you acknowledge those data practices.

Service Availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site at any time. We do not promise that the site will always be available, secure, accurate, or free of errors.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AnimeGridsis provided "as is" and "as available," without express or implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or right that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

Applicable law may give you rights that cannot be limited by these terms.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. The date at the top shows when they were last revised. Your continued use of the site after revised terms take effect means you accept them.
